Our History

Gretchen Hillhouse established Gretchen Hillhouse Design in 2006 following a career in the visual arts. Her work has attracted numerous awards and is represented  in public collections throughout Australia and private collections overseas.

She was named on of the top 10 young international designers in 2006 by Monument magazine, has been a key exhibitor in the State of Design Festival (Melbourne, Australia) since its inception and continues  to exhibit original works and develop collections for commercial release each year.

Gretchen actively supports the development of design dialogue through lectures, mentoring and internships.
